- ALTERATIONS (We don't accept hemmed or altered items)
- BATTERIES (All equipment and toys must have working batteries)
- CUFFS & ELBOWS (Check cuffs, elbows and pant hems for wear and tear)
- DRAWSTRINGS AND TOGGLES (There is legislation banning childrens' clothing items which have toggles and drawstrings longer than 3 inches)
- EQUIPMENT (All equipment must be clean, in good working order and be less than five years old. We will check all equipment for safety recalls)
- FADED OR TOO WORN (The washed out item will not sell)
- GAMES AND PUZZLES (We take a few of the more popular games, but please make sure all pieces are accounted for (we don't take puzzles with more than 50 pieces)
- HEMS (Check pant hems for wear or fraying)
- IRONED (Presentation is everything!We don't take wrinkled clothing)
- JUST YOUR BEST! (Think quality vs quantity! In our store mediocre doesn't sell!)
- KNEES (Check the knees on all pants and overalls for wear)
- LARGER SIZES (We don't have as much demand for kids sizes 12 to 18. Don't be surprised if we only take 4 or 5 items per bag of larger clothes)
- MATERNITY (We have a small section for maternity clothing and only the latest in maternity fashion sells)
- NEATLY FOLDED (Even recently ironed clothing won't wrinkle if clothes are carefully folded and put into a garbage bag.
- OUT OF SEASON (We take fall and winter in June and spring and summer in December)
- PILLY (Hold clothing up to the light and check for pills on the material)
- QUICKLY (If clothing is well sorted and in EXCEPTIONAL condition, we can process it and sell it quickly! Good for you and good for us!)
- RECENT STYLES (Only from the last 3 years, please!)
- STAINED (We sort under very bright lights and we try to catch every little stain! Carefully check the front of all sleepers and onesies)
- TORN (Check seams for tears, as well as pant hems)
- UNDERWEAR (We don't take underwear)
- VIDEOS & DVDS (We take fewer videos than DVDS. Please make sure cases match movies)
- WASHED (Please!)
- X-CEPTIONAL (Are they?)
- Y? (Because we don't want you to have to go through racks of mediocre items to find the exceptional one!)
