We accept current styles and models of clean clothing, toys, equipment and furniture. No stained, torn, wrinkled or damaged items are accepted. Anything that needs batteries must come into the store with working batteries.
Packaging and Bringing in your Items
Thanks for consigning with us! We’re successful because of the quality of your items. We only take the best and newest items and this is how we attract thousands of customers, making money for families across Ottawa.
We look at 20 items of clothing, 10 books & a bag of toys per drop off. Sometimes we limit toys to 10 when we are over-supplied.
We don’t place limits on high quality and new looking baby equipment like strollers, high chairs, pack n plays and back packs. Older baby gear with more wear may be limited due to space constraints.
You can drop off at any time that we’re open. We sort it for you when you bring it in. No need to come back for return bags.
Please give us 5-10 minutes to sort your items. You can browse or shop in the store. We’ll call you by name when we’re finished and we’ll give you back the clothing and baby gear items we can’t take.
We retain the right to donate any itme of clothing to our worthy local charities if it is found to have flaws or stains after you leave the store.
Sorting toys is more time consuming (with recall checks) and we may not be able to sort them immediately. Toys that we don’t take are donated to charities.
Your things will go out for sale quickly. Many are priced immediately.
We appreciate your patience if you have to wait at our drop off counter. Some seasons (fall) are busier than others. Our staff will be with you as quickly as possible.
We are seasonal. We accept fall and winter items from June to November and spring and summer articles from December to May.
Consignor Payment
You receive 40% of the purchase price on clothes and toys and 50% for equipment. You can make a purchase from your account anytime, or be paid by cash or cheque. (24 hours notice may be required to prepare a cheque for larger amounts.)
